Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and since I can remember I’ve never been faithful to any kind of breakfast food. Here’s three healthy and quick ideas for breakfast if you too would like to switch it up a bit.
STRAWBERRY + NUTS SMOOTHIE
This recipe was given to me by my nutritionist and the first one that I tried as I love strawberries. All you need is: 2 walnuts, 125ml oat milk (or any milk you like), and a few strawberries. Put all in the blender, get mixing and ready to taste. I was a bit skeptical due to the walnuts at the beginning but I have to say they blend in with the strawberries really well, whilst the oat milk gives it that extra sweetness.
Directly from the Project Bikini Guide from Get The Gloss, the Refresher Juice does exactly what it says on the tin. For this juice all you need is: 1/2 cucumber, 4 mint leaves, 1 lime juice and 1 apple. I like to drink this one in the afternoon as it is very refreshing, but could be a good alternative for orange juice.
This one is for when you are craving a really sweet breakfast but don’t want to go for Coco Pops. For this one you need: 125ml of coconut milk, some pineapple and if you want some spinach. Just a sip of it and I’m already at the beach sunbathing, perfect to make Mondays more bearable.
