Yet Another Beauty Haul

Beauty Haul Overview

I don’t do hauls frequently, due to my ‘minimal’ life style I try my hardest to only buy what I really need. Here’s some of the new additions to my beauty stash – a top shelf product and many new ones.

Beauty Haul - Body and Fragrance Close Up

I am a big fan of L’Erbolario products, they’ve always been part of my life since I can remember, possibly cause they’re made in a city nearby. If you are a fan of natural and cruelty-free products with amazing fragrances then I would point you right in their direction. For I finished my beloved Ted Baker shower gel I decided to pick up the L’Erbolario Frescaessenza Shower Gel. I’ve been very much into quite masculine fragrances lately and the Frescaessenza range ticks all the right boxes as it smells quite masculine, fresh and citrussy. For the same reason I picked up & Other Stories Botanic Whisper Body Mist – a zesty burst of fresh picked coriander (which I HATE to eat but apparently don’t mind in my perfume), tangy tangerine and soothing blossoms of orange flower. I could spend days in & Other Stories’ beauty section and I am slowly collecting all their body mist – next on my list is Havana Blues.

Beauty Haul - Nails and Concealers Close Ups

After 2 years of sticking to my trusty Seche Vite to cut down on nail polish dry time I decided it was time for me to try something new and possibly find a new love. I decided to go for Kiko Nail Polish Drying Drops which I am currently testing out, keep your eyes peeled for a soon to come review. When in Sephora I tried very hard to not repurchase the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, not because I don’t like it, quite the opposite I’m afraid nothing can come quite close so wanted to be more adventurous and try something new. I had my eyes on the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer but when the lady put it on me looked so cakey I didn’t feel like risking it. Granted, she put on a shit load on – what’s up with that? – and I already had my concealer on sealed in place with some translucent powder but the cakeyness is a deal breaker for me. So after that not so pleasant result I run back to the Urban Decay counter and sticked to what I know works for me. To replace my soon to be gone Bobbi Brown Creamy Corrector which I cannot find anywhere in Italy, I decided to give the Sephora Smoothing & Brightening Concealer in Medium 05 a go and see if it’s a dupe. I’ll keep you posted!
