I love it when I find old loves in my makeup collection. Remember when last year everyone went a bit crazy about contouring? Well although I don’t go Kardashian crazy on my face I must admit jumped at the craze and have a few contour powders and creams I use in rotation.Becca Highlight Low Light - Packaging Close Up

I have no idea why this product hasn’t been too much talked about in the blogosphere cause this palette is hands down one of the best contouring kits I own. Cream formulas tend to be quite scary cause they seem quite difficult to handle, but I actually find them easier to work with than powders.

You can apply the product with a brush – I used to use Real Technique’s Stippling Brush for the contour and a flat foundation brush for the highlight, but this days I like to use my fingers and my trusty Beauty Blender. I start by putting stripes of contour on the hollows of my cheeks, hair line, side of the nose and a little bit on the jaw. Admittedly the contour shade seems a bit off in the pan especially for my pale complexions but it surprisingly really is a universal shade. Then I pop a bit of  The Shimmering Skin Perfector in ‘Quartz’ in top of my cheekbones, brow bones and cupid’s bow always in a stripy motion and then get blending with the Beauty Blender. It is very easy and quick to blend and virtually impossible to go around with a brown sideburn so the result is really natural.

Do you have a contour palette you swear by?
