I know, I know another wishlist…But what can I do? I am in a very spending mode, but since I’m trying to save up as much as possible I do the virtual shopping craze I’m sure you’re no stranger to – put stuff in the cart and not buy, or wait for better days to splurge. This feels very 2 Broke Girls but such is life and I’m not ashamed of admitting it.
Once I’m done with the books I’m reading, I’m sure as hell going to buy this one – I mean, just look at that title! This book seems to incorporate everything I love. It is said to be irreverent and practical as it explains how to rid yourself of unwanted obligations, shame, and guilt – and give your f**ks instead to people and things that make you happy. Yes please!
The Guardian describes Garance Doré to ‘the best thing to happen to style since Grace Coddington’, and I adore Grace Coddington. I love the minimal cover of the book with the calligraphy. Ambassador of French taste and fashion, this part-style guide, part-visual diary, part-intimate look into the Garance’s world seems to be a fair new addition to my Parisian-style book collection.
By now my obsession with street style it should come to no surprise at all. Photographer Giuseppe Santamaria takes us to the streets of New York, London, Paris, Melbourne, Tokyo and Madrid to showcase the unique styles of the women in each city. This could be great for when I need style inspiration.
I gave one of my friends a few Christmas ago a 5 years Q&A Journal and I was so glad to see he is keeping up with it after 3 years! Following the same concept, Living Well One Line A Day has been designed to actively inspire positive change. Despite its blank, daily calendar-style interior this 5 year journal has the purpose to collect
the inspirational odds and ends of each day, from simple thoughts, reflections, and meditations, to ideas for self-care, goals, and light tracking of mental and physical well-being. I was never one to journal but I feel this would be a nice addition to give a personal twist to the daily affirmations I grew to love during Yoga Camp.
