NYE Make Up Is Served

NYE Make Up Served

Here we are, the last day of 2015! I am not a massive fan of NYE, I am definitely not one to go out, too many people and too cold, so as per usual I am going to spend the night in stuffing my face with food. However, not going out is not a good excuse to look like a slob, even though if you do, it’s perfectly fine, I’ll probably ain’t going to be bothered to do my hair, to each its own!

NYE Make Up Served - FACE

My fab sister spoilt me rotten this Christmas with the CHANEL Vita Lumière Aqua in B10 and the Joues Contraste Lumière in Coups the Minuit – the only item she could find from the Rouge Noir Collection! I like the Vita Lumière cause it is lightweight but it offers a bit more of coverage if compared to the Charlotte Tilbury’s Light Wonder Foundation. For concealer my favourite right now is the Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer in Light Warm, just as the CHANEL foundation it provides tons of coverage without being cakey, which is great. The rest of the complexion is pretty glowy too thanks to the NARS Blush in Deep Throat and the CHANEL highlighter, which could be used all over the facelike the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light as it is so finely milled that it’s difficult to over do it. For contour I am trusting my Rodial Contouring Powder.

NYE MakeUp Served - Eyes

I’ll keep the eyes quite bold and neutral at the same time. The Kiko Eyebrow Sculpt in 04 Auburn gives the brows a thick yet natural look. If used wet, the NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow in Dione can give quite a bold metallic, almost wet-look to the eyes without being too over the top, especially if you blend a matte brown colour on in the crease such as MAC Charcoal Brown. Finally to give the eyes further definition I’ll use the By Terry Crayon Khôl Terribly in Bronze Generation as an eyeliner, and tons of Benefit Roller Lash Mascara on the lashes.

NYE MakeUp Served - Lips & Nails

Finally, on the lips I am keeping my options open. Since the plan is mostly eating and drinking I don’t know if there’s a point going for a red lip. However, if I do decide to go for it I’ll either go for the Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte in 107 or the Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Mimosa. Otherwise, the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nudist or the L’Oréal Collection Privée The Perfect Nudes by JLo will do. Last but not least  Essie Leading Lady on the nails ties the whole look up by giving a subtle touch of sparkle.

What will you be wearing?
