Boxing Day Sales seems to be a huge thing I never took part of before, in all honesty I hate sales solely for the fact that people get bonkers when things are cheaper and I get it, but there’s no chance in hell you’d see me elbowing people for a mascara. However, I can get behind the whole concept if I am in the comfort of my own home. So I went, I browsed and here’s what I think are the best deals.
Alpha H Perfect Partners Luxe 3-Piece Collection – from
£35.35 to £22.62. Now Alpha-H is an IMPOSSIBLE brand to get in Italy. When I was looking out for a similar product as the Liquid Gold there was no product in Sephora or else that came closer, so obviously I am going to get my mitts on this set as soon as I am done writing. This set is such good value for money. You get 100ml Liquid Gold, that just full price by itself is usually around £30, plus a 200ml Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera (sold full price for £25) and a nice little Lime, Coconut, and Elderflower Candle. BARGAIN!
Fairy Drops Quattro Mascara – from
£17.15 to £13.72. This mascara gets sold out in seconds so there’s no way I am going to let this go when on sale. There’s no one that I know of that is not raving about this mascara, it seems all kind of magical. The formula is said to be infused with fibres which bind along the length of the lashes to provide voluptuous volume, extreme definition and incredible length, as well as holding the curl. My elephant straight lashes will gladly take up the challenge!
Aromatherapy Associates Ultimate Bath Jewels – from
£58 to £40.60. Still quite a splurge if you ask me but £18 discount is not bad at all. Aromatherapy products are heavenly, I remember having a bath with their Revive Bath Oil and it smelled so good even my flatmate wouldn’t stop talking about it. You get 10 9ml bottles in this set, but as a little goes a long way it reckon this will last you a long while. I might let someone else do the splurge and put it in my birthday wish list?!
Oskia Cracker – from
£18 to £10.80. Cult Beauty sold out of loads of stuff so quickly! I had my eyes on the Smith & Cult nail polish trio but nada, gone within seconds, so did the Dyptique Candles, damn it! However, there’s a waiting list for a this cute Oskia Cracker containing a 40ml Renaissance Cleansing Gel which I am dying to try out. So I’ll sign up for that and patiently wait.
Living Proof No Frizz Smoothing & Frizz Fighting Gift Set – from
£52.50 to £36.75. Same goes for this one, joined the waiting list cause things fly off the shelves in Cult Beauty! You know how much I love the Humidity Shield from this range, I raved about it and I am on the verge of doing it again, but I won’t let’s just say it is so good I’d fly to the US right now for a repurchase. In the mean time I’ll try to grab the rest of the range. The size is decent for being a gift set as you get a 236ml Shampoo and Conditioner and a 118ml Styling Cream…Cult Beauty please restock as fast as you can!!!
Ciaté Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar – from
£49 to £24. Every year Christmas comes around I see these amazing but painfully expensive beauty advent calendars. However, if I can get Ciaté nail polishes for £1 each, now that’s another story! I have a feeling this will be sold out very soon…
Burberry Wet and Dry Silk Shadows – from
£23 to £16.10. I have been lusting over Burberry makeup for A LONG time so seeing that FeelUnique has a sale on them is just a dream come true. I don’t really need more eyeshadows to be honest, but have you seen the Mulberry shade?! So dreamy….Will the 30% or my ‘Less is More’ philosophy win?
By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Balm – from
£20 to £18. I have been wanting to try Baume de Rose for as long as I can remember. It freaking expensive for a lip balm, let’s be honest, but I just can’t help to want it. A splurge I might not get myself, but I am putting it out there for those of you who want to indulge or have a birthday coming soon.
