After some more personal ramblings, we are finally back to normal programming with another instalment of New Launches. One of the newest launches that caught my eyes was the Ted Baker Sugar Sweet bath and body range, I mean…Look at it, how couldn’t it? There’s floral, there’s pastel, elegant packaging and amazing smells.
Inspired by his floral print, the Sugar Sweet Collection is divided into two delicate summer, fresh fragrances – The Fruity Floral Mint with violet, vanilla, pachouli and amber and Soft Floral Pink with jasmine, neroli, patchouli, sandalwood and musk. The fragrances are different yet light enough to be layered or easily switched to transition from day to night. My personal favourite is the Fruity Floral Mint, as I find it more citrusy, and I believe it to be the perfect fragrance for the day. If you are more into the sweet scents, then Soft Floral Pink is for you. Although I think of it and use it more for the evening because of its sweetness, but if you are more of a sweet fragrance kind of person you’ll probably find it ok to use it during the day too.
The packaging are just a dream. The Body Sufflé* (£10) are stored in a nice diamond cut jar that has a click when you close it! I know this is something most people don’t care about, but there’s a slight satisfaction when hearing ‘the click’ – a) cause you know you closed the product properly and it won’t spoil, b) the logo on top is perfectly aligned with the logo on the side. OCD at it’s finest here, and I love it! If you are not a fan of jars, then maybe the Body Lotion* (£8) is more for you as it has a pump. I actually use this one as a hand lotion and I keep it next to my sink as I think it looks pretty. Finally, my most used product is The Body Spray* (£7) which lives in my bag for when I want to top up my perfume or simply when I forget to put some on before leaving the house. Don’t be deceived, I looks heavy, but it is actually made of plastic so it is not heavy to carry as you might think.
If you are unsure of what you actually might like, you can go to Boots and have a sniff, or if you have any birthdays coming up then gift bags are to die for!
