Here comes the sun and I say, it’s all right! Finally spring seems to have come to London and I have been trying to take advantage as much as I can…You know, just in case!
This weekend, like most weekends, has been all about food and coffee. With my flatmates we headed to Stepney City Farm for brunch. I just got cappuccino, which was amazing. The veggie and meaty brunch my flatmates got looked so yummy, I definitely need to come back and try it myself! I didn’t know about the concept of city farms, but it is nice to know that there are a few of these around London where you can find a piece of ‘countryside’ to relax and enjoy the nature, whether by gardening or volunteering by helping them with the animals.
For lunch, we went to Franco Manca in Broadway Market. I really liked the place, very small and very packed with people waiting to get in. They has burrata as an appetiser so I HAD to have it. I don’t miss many things from Italy but cheese….that, I do miss quite a bit. And FYU, the burrata was just *mmmmh*. The pizza was not too bad but not the best I had in London so far, it also took a while to come as they were very busy.
Next stop was a coffee in Brick Lane. We stopped at this coffee/vintage shop in Bacon Street called The Vintage Emporium and Tea Room. It is quite an unusual place with a hippy vibe going on and with the life, I felt like I was in the 60s,which I really liked. You might have seen a sneekpeek of the gig if you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat.
Very much looking forward to the next sunny days and see what they’ll bring!
